The title page is hand written and the body is carbon copied of typed original. The book is only 31 pages long. It begins with a Samuel Jordan, to two Thomas', then a Joshua, where it gets serious. It is not indexed, but is chronological.

The Edward Pleasants Valentine Papers, volume 2, by Clayton Torrence, there is a long chapter dealing with JORDAN in various Virginia counties. There are extracts from deed books, will books, marriages, etc. Unknown publisher or copyright date at this moment, but it should be in any large genealogical library. The Valentine Papers is a 4 volume work.
